Baby #2 is a GIRL!

Hi everyone!! I have 10 fingers and 10 toes and we counted them today :) I was not shy in letting mom and dad know that I am still a girl. They are happy since they have so many cute clothes from my big sister that I can wear now!

My feet are cute and tiny and measure just shy of an inch right now. Awwwwww!
Here is my sideways picture cause mom is impatient in uploading stuff and doesn't feel like turning me around. It's ok, cause I do flips all day anyways, so this is not new to me!

Annnd hi everyone!

Pantry Raid!!

One of my favorite Mommy bloggers posted this the other day, and I decided to play along! Come see what is in our pantry!

Quite frankly, seeing this makes me want to clean the dang thing out. Don't forget, I am pregnant, and lots of things were purchased on impulse and never eaten.... I need to remind myself of that!

Annnnd regression

The past week was so great. O was going potty and telling us every time. Going out was questionable, but I considered her 100% PT at home.

Forward to Wednesday, she started screaming and holding her butt when she had to poop. It was a miracle to get her to sit on the potty without screaming. But she would eventually go. And she was still initiating #1. One pee accident. No biggie.

Thursday, initiated #1 in the morning, and then spent the rest of the day peeing on herself, and continuing the #2 screaming and drama. She would be very proud of herself for going #2 on the potty, but getting there was terrible.

Friday. Out most of the morning. Potty chair in the car, and we tried public potty again. 4 accidents, and screaming when put on the potty for #1 or #2.

What happened????

The rest of the time...

Um, pretty sure O is 100% trained at home. Pee and poop. She has done SOOOOOOOO great. I cannot even believe it.

At church, she peed in her Pull Up. I tried to get her to go before she went into class, but no go.

Today at the zoo, she peed once in her Pull Up. After numerous attempts to get her to go with me on the big girl potty. She then proceeded to hold it for about 6 hours.... what a weird kid! Peed and pooped at nana's house.

Tomorrow, school. I have to put her in Pull Ups, which I am pretty sure she thinks are diapers. But I can't let them have to deal with pee puddles from my kid who will very not likely ask them to go, nor go on the potty there for some time. I hope it comes with time. But I don't expect it now. So Pull Ups it is for now :(

She asks us to go every single time. There are quite a few false alarms, but that is certainly ok. She will not go if we just make her sit. Again, I hope that comes with time, like going before a road trip, or things like that. But again, not #1 on the list. That is a goal I would like to meet by Thanksgiving, when we drive to my dad's.

I AM SO PROUD OF MY BIG GIRL!

Tomorrow's post- 1st day of school, and how long did Mommy cry---

Um, could it be? Day 8...

Um, is she getting it?

We are 4 for 4 going on the potty. It's noon.... she has had 0 accidents.... she has asked us to go EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.

I hesitate to type those words. We shall see what afternoon brings...

ONE accident. ALL DAY LONG. Asked to go every other time, even when Mimi was babysitting. Holy crapola.

Tomorrow, church...

Potty Training, Day 7

Dare I say, I hope for 3 successes today? Which could be hard because we HAVE to make a grocery store trip. And we may have to go to 2 different stores. Guess I'll bring the potty and hope for the best! I also bought this yesterday online in hopes that seeing her "very own" special seat will help her not freak out in public.

Potty Training, Day 6

Goal- 2 successes....

Woke up dry!!! Whoa. And she had a crap ton of water before bed.

She asked for her panties right away. Told her we had to go potty first. Sat on the potty about 3/4 minutes. And she peed!!! I mean, it was inevitable, but what a great way to start the day!

4 hours later, the kid still hasn't peed. After a snack and a lot of liquid, I tried again. Nothing. We have sat on the potty a million times in the last four hours.

And pee on the floor about 2 minutes after getting off the potty. Then again 20 minutes later.

So far, not making the association between feeling like you have to go, and sitting down.

A couple more accidents... caught one, and she finished in the potty.

Then poop on the potty!!!!! It was simply timing, and she was not too pleased about it when it happened. I just kept telling her it was ok, and that's what she's supposed to do, etc. Then TWO M&Ms and a big sticker, and she was so proud of herself.

And to end the day, a pee in the garage, after a dry quick car trip, then get ready for bed. While we were reading on her potty (not her "normal" one) she started crying and said "Mommy, big potty!!!" And I took her onto the big one with the ring on it, and she pooped!!!

My kid asked me to go poop!!!!!!!

Potty Training, Day 5

Goal for today- to have at least one success, and spend the whole day in panties.

3 hours after waking up..... accident.

Put on a Pull Up (we told her they were panties), and ventured to the gym. Hysterics when I tried to get her to use the big toilet. Stayed dry the whole time.

3 hours after Accident #1, pee pee in the potty!! I told her we always go before nap, and sure enough, she went about 2 minutes after sitting down!! She was so happy for herself :)

TBC....

Woke up wet. No more pee at all.

Mall trip. BIG FAIL. Brought the potty in the car. Sat, and sat, and sat. Nothing. Went in the public bathroom. Mental breakdown. Pee in the pull up, poop in the pull up. Oh well. Can't expect much from beong out for 3/4 hours.

Question of the day- what do we do about public bathrooms??? She has had two mental breakdowns just today about it! I know we are so early on, but still I had hoped it wouldn't be this bad.
