Olivia has learned (with the help of her Daddy) to climb the stairs! Now whenever she gets down, she heads straight for the stairs! Hopefully the novelty wears off soon...

Olivia at the zoo

A busy Saturday
Today we woke up "late" at 7 am, and then headed to the Farmer's Market. I love going there! They have so much beautiful produce. We came home with corn, peaches, and tomatoes. Yum! Then it was off to the Williamson County Fair with some girls from my playgroup, and with Stephanie, Jon and Allie. I saved up all my extra calories for today, and ate some awesome treats!!
Tomorrow, we are going to chill at home, as I think we need it!

My new mission
Is to lose 20 pounds. Maybe even 25. I am tired of being where I am. I made excuses after Olivia was born, and pretty much ate what I wanted and didn't do a whole lot of working out. This is it. I did this once before, 6 months before the wedding, and there is no reason I cannot do it again.
I am not posting this for compliments, or for anyone to feel bad for me, I am just posting it! Maybe for encouragement. Or maybe because just to put it out there makes it more of a real goal, and if people know about it, then I can be more accountable.
Needless to say, I am going to be brave, and post a picture from now, and a picture of where I want/need to be. I know my body has changed since having Olivia, but I will lose the weight!!

12 month appointment
Olivia is healthy for sure! She is 20 lbs 12 oz, and 31.5 inches tall! She is following her daddy on the growth chart for sure! Other than that, the Dr. said she is ahead in her language, and just great in general!
We knew she would be!

The BIG party!
We were blessed to have a wonderful group of family and friends out for Olivia's big party on Sunday. The food was awesome (thanks grandparents!), the cupcakes were awesome, and the company was the best! Olivia got loads of awesome stuff, her favorite of which was undeniably the Elmo pjs since she carried them around all day (thanks aunt Katie!). I washed them so that she could wear them tonight- I am sure she will be pleased!
Her actual Birthday day!
On Olivia's actual birthday, we wanted to just have a nice day with her, Mommy and Daddy. We went to IHOP for pancakes, her fave, then to the zoo. She also got to open her gifts from us, which were apparently a bunch of new style pacifiers. She spent much of the afternoon with a puzzle piece stuck in her mouth! It was a great day, and ended with Grandpa coming in town to hang for the big birthday weekend!
